The Collectible Card Season

The Theme

Aaron’s favorite summer activity as a kid was riding his bike to the corner store for icees and baseball cards. In that spirit, weekly winners this season will receive a beverage of their choice from Sonic and a sealed pack of custom-made Northside collectible cards. Each pack contains five random cards including four base cards and one special insert. Whoever is the first to collect a complete set of base cards or special sub-sets of cards (listed below) will receive a special prize. Season 4 will culminate with a free night at the Louisville Bats game for all staff/ambassadors/residents/elders + spouses + kids (18 and under) on the last Thursday of August!

The Prizes

LANDMARKS (5 CARDS)

  • Historic item of memorabilia from Bibleland

  • GlamourShots™ photo shoot at each of the four landmark locations

MIC DROPPERS (4 CARDS)

  • Four-part audio devotional—tailored to you—from the Teaching Team

LIVING LEGENDS (3 CARDS)

  • Your name engraved on a custom landscaping paver to be installed on campus to secure your status as a living legend

FLEENORFRACTOR (1 CARD)

  • The card is the prize. (It’s shiny and super cool!)

  • Bonus: Fleenor will lift, carry, and move one large item for you at your home or office.

NORTHSIDE NOW (3 CARDS)

  • Bragging rights

How To Play

  • Every Thursday in June/July/August at 1:00pm, a message will be posted to the #staff-water-cooler channel in Slack with a simple question. (Example: What was your favorite album in middle school? The 3rd, 7th, and 13th people to DM Aaron with their answer will win!)

  • Winners will be sent a link to place their Sonic beverage order. While we’re waiting on the drinks, we will gather at 1:30pm for winners to choose their packs and rip ‘em for the rest of us to see what they got!

  • Players are encouraged to buy/sell/trade/barter throughout the season to try to complete one of the sets available in order to win a special prize—the largest of which goes to the first person to collect the entire base set of 52 cards!
